Sonny Anand

SONNY ANAND began his career with Funaro & Co., P.C. in 1985, shortly after graduation from St. John's University, New York, where he earned a B.S. in Accounting. He became a partner with Funaro in 1992, and is a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of CPAs. Sonny has a broad practice area that includes auditing, corporate tax compliance including IRS representation, litigation support, acquisitions and mergers, and accounting software consulting. He has diversified experience with small to medium sized businesses in industries such as wholesale distribution, advertising, retail, construction, real estate, real-time market data providers, re-insurance and film distribution. He has earned certifications in Siebel Systems, Best Mas90 and Navision, and has several successful implementations to his credit. He has assisted many companies from Italy and India to establish their operations in the U.S. and also serves as an officer and/or director of their U.S. subsidiaries.

Sonny emigrated to the U.S. from New Delhi, India in 1983. He speaks fluent English, Hindi and Punjabi.
